Nicholet Pardo

Nicholet Pardo

Born in Trinidad, West Indies, Nicky was educated in Ecuador, England and Switzerland.

Fluent in both Spanish and French, she has taught both nationally and internationally and is a qualified TEFL teacher, as well as an experienced translator.

She has a wide ranging background in industry and commerce, having worked for companies such as Lummus, Marubeni-Iida, Murco and 3M. It was here that she gained experience in liaising with companies and contacts worldwide, coordinating events, company seminars and representing major exhibitions.

Nicky is married to Jose and has two children, Richard and Janine.

She has been involved with the Ascot Charity Ball since its inception in 2001.

Anne Hoddle

Anne Hoddle

Born in Yorkshire, Anne moved to the South at the age of four. She graduated from the Froebel Institute in Roehampton with a B.Ed degree in the First Year of Schooling and French. Then she proceeded to teach in a local infant school in Harlow, Essex, before putting her French to good use whilst living in Monaco for a number of years. Her return to England seventeen years ago saw her settle in the Ascot area.

Anne has always enjoyed being a mum and continues to do so to her three “big” children, Zoë, Zara and Jamie. She also teaches French to nursery children and runs a small gift party business.

In her spare time, she enjoys playing netball and tennis, as well as watching her son’s cricket matches and acting as ‘roadie’ to her son’s rock band.

Danny Mehta

Danny Mehta

Danny has lived in the local area most of his life. He qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1978 and started his own accountancy practice in 1982. He now also builds the occasional property.

He has six children who have benefited greatly from growing up in the local area and therefore he takes great pleasure in giving something back in any way that he can.

He enjoys many sporting activities mainly golf and tennis and has a passion for fast cars.

When he was asked to become a trustee of the Ascot Charitable Trust he was happy to give his time to its cause and he looks forward to his future involvement.

Deborah Mullins

Deborah Mullins

Deborah was born in Oxford but grew up in Shropshire. After spending 2 years in Australia she married Ian and lived in Yorkshire before settling in the Ascot area in 1996.

Deborah brought up 2 children, Nia and Cai, while supporting her husband as Head of The Licensed Victuallers School. During this time she learned sign language and trained in Guildford as a legal executive. She went on to train and work for the Citizens Advice Bureau.

Deborah enjoys dance and yoga classes, travelling, reading and is studying Italian at evening class.

She feels strongly about helping charities, regularly supports Cancer Research and has taken part in the Moon Walk.
