Cheque Presentation 2010...
Ascot Charitable Trust was delighted to present cheques totalling £50,000 to three charities on the 7th July at Ascot Racecourse. Paralympics GB received £25,000 and the two local charities, Alexander Devine Children's Cancer Trust and Children with Special Needs Foundation each received £12,500.
Nicky Pardo, who together with the Ascot Charitable Trust committee organised the Caribbean themed fundraising Ball which generated the funds, said: “We are delighted that we have been able to support these amazing charities in such a significant way, especially considering the current economic climate. A huge thank you to all those who attended the Ball and gave so generously on the evening – without their support this fantastic total could not have been achieved."
