Kensington Palace 2005...
The Ascot Charitable Trust (ACT) in aid of SPARKS (Sports Aiding Medical Research for Kids) held a black tie evening at Kensington Palace on October 4th, hosted by HRH Princess Michael of Kent, who chatted to all the guests and stayed till the end of the evening.
The event was held in recognition of the work carried out by the Trust’s patrons, Paul Attwell, Rae Bowdery and Martin Carroll.
As well as a guided tour of the State Apartments, taking in many rooms previously unseen by the public, guests also enjoyed a champagne reception and a silent auction.
Live music was provided throughout the evening by harpist Cecilia Sultana de Maria, see ceciliasultanademaria.com.
The evening helped the Trust to raise £10,000 for SPARKS.
