Make A Wish Foundation UK 2006

The Ascot Charity Ball, held at the Royal Berkshire Hotel, Ascot, raised in excess of £50,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation UK and other local beneficiaries, including the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice, Sebastian’s Action Trust, The Yash Trust and Ranald Court for the Elderly.

The celebrity-studded charity ball now in its sixth year is organised by the Ascot Charitable Trust. Celebrities this year included former Spandau ballet front man, Tony Hadley. Fantastic cabaret was provided by Bobby Davro and compère for the evening was Peter Marshall.

The evening included a champagne reception, gala dinner, fabulous live entertainment, and a grand auction including romantic holiday destinations and memorabilia from sporting legends, a silent auction, tombola and finally dancing to Martin Cox and Dog House.

The Ascot Charity Ball, the most prestigious and elegant evening in the Ascot social calendar, will take place at Trunkwell Mansion House on the 6th June 2009.
