"Alan's big day out "
Living Within - November 2005

2005 is a year that Ascot Estate Agent, Alan Carr, will probably never forget. The highlight, he tells us, was organising the Ascot Charitable Trust's private viewing of Kensington Palace hosted by Her Royal Highness, Princess Michael of Kent.

The event was held in recognition of the work carried out by the trust's patrons, Paul Attwell, Rae Bowdery and Martin Carroll.

The evening also helped the Trust to raise £10,000 for its important charity work.

Alan says Her Royal Highness was simply delightful. "She chatted to all the guests and stayed with us until the end of the evening."

A Black Tie Champagne reception had been organised for the private viewing at Kensington Palace and guests were given a private guided tour of the State Apartments in the Palace.
