"Tony Hadley to lend hand at Ascot ball"
Livingwithin - November 2005

Former Spandau Ballet front man Tony Hadley has agreed to provide support to the annual ball organised by the Ascot Charitable Trust in 2006. The coup was announced by Ascot estate agent Alan Carr, pictured (below) with Tony, who also revealed names of the charities expected to benefit from next year's event: Make A Wish Foundation UK, Sebastian's Action Trust, YASH Trust, Ranald Court, The Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice.

Some 500 people are expected to attend the ball at the Royal Berkshire Hotel. Half the tickets have already been sold. Tables of 10 are available from £950.

The Ascot Charitable Trust recently held a private viewing at Kensington Palace hosted by HRH Princess Michael of Kent. The event was organised to recognise the work of the Ascot Charitable Trust's patrons Paul Attwell, Rae Bowdery and Martin Carroll. The event helped the Trust to raise several thousand pounds.
